What could go wrong with mixing nuclear power plants and a full fledged war?

The suffering continues until the thoughts of fear, anger and hatred are released voluntarily through forgiveness or starting anew. A transformation is needed in order to get out of the trap of fear, hatred, and projection, which is self imposed.

The hatred or fear thoughts and emotions do not lead to relief from suffering but end up binding a person tighter and tighter in its grip, while increasing the suffering. To get out of this self imposed prison and trap requires that new, more positive and loving thoughts and new more positive joyful emotions have to be entered into and voluntarily accepted.

ChoicePoint has made clear its intent to construct a data base on every individual in the US and to include everything from genetic information, medical records, credit history, family history, spending habits, voting records, and every other type of information it can find on you and to compile it into billions of files that are for sale to insurance companies, researchers and experimenters, and to the government. Companies such as ChoicePoint provide the end-run around the law by compiling and then selling as a commodity, information to agencies like the FBI, or huge insurance companies who might otherwise be prevented from having or gathering the information.

The attempts to track us and use the information about our genetic history don’t stop here. The US military now has made it mandatory that military personnel be DNA tested. The reason given is that it will make battlefield identification easier. And it would. But that isn’t why they are doing it and it doesn’t explain why DNA data is being stored for 75 years and subjected to massive testing and experimentation.

This DNA databank is also used routinely for experimentation for bio-weaponry, germ testing (weapons grade) among other agendas. Donald Rumsfeld re-wrote the guidelines for germ and biological testing in 2002. The new guidelines waive any right by the individual to informed consent for testing or experimentation with chemicals or drugs. This is does not mean the military, only Special provisions were written in that specifically cite women and minorities as being subject to testing without informed consent and the public at large. With these new rules, a department head in DoD, or HSD can now simply claim “national security” and basically give themselves permission to do whatever maniacal testing they choose……and you have no right whatsoever to know that they did it or, if you find out that you were secretly experimented on, to any redress against these agencies or their agents.

With states now claiming ownership of DNA of newborns, the military now claiming they own that database and the international efforts to catalogue every person possible, we aren’t far from the claiming of ownership of every individual. To claim that you now own DNA of anyone other than yourself is to imply that the ownership entitles you to use as you see fit, that which you own. It could be why human beings are now referred to as, “human capital” in such odious things as the Security & Prosperity Partnership”. Maybe the intent all along has been to devise a means by which we become a commodity to be traded and sold on the global markets.

Oil companies are using the war in Ukraine as a pretext to raise gasoline prices and gouge customers. Meanwhile, they report the largest quarterly profits in eight years and openly brag about how they spend their profits on stock buybacks to shareholders.

To make matters worse, a report in Fortune Magazine shows they are not investing these profits in green energy to combat climate change as our planet burns. We need reasonable price controls, and oil companies must pay a windfall profits tax.

A windfall tax would levy a tax on profits made by fossil fuel companies in response to the Ukraine invasion, and also tax profits made as inflation has risen. This can discourage oil companies from artificially inflating gas prices. And it’s one of the few things Congress or the Biden Administration can do to deter this price gouging.

Senators Bernie Sanders and Ed Markey have both called for action in recent days, and in 2020 Sanders introduced similar legislation to a windfall profits tax. As Americans get anxious with prices at the gas pump, now is the time to hold oil companies accountable.

When we wonder about our origins, we might consider that Earth is one of many experiments, during a time when collaborations of alien races seeded stars and planets to grow new worlds. When we die and then choose to reincarnate, it seems we have many options. As amorphous, traveling souls, we not only have this planet to consider, but many others throughout the billions of galaxies, realms, and universes, and within many continuums of spacetime. It’s in this way that our souls may have birthed a thousand times in a thousand different galaxies. We might also be living simultaneous, co-joined lives in a variety of places, and within several spacetime platforms.

We can learn from the 'tribe' that we are part of, which is is within the human collective. This human collective can be called the 'human tribe'. No matter what human form we have taken, we can learn from that life and from that tribe, no matter what the origin or root.  

The term "collective" is sometimes used to describe a species as a whole—for example, the human collective.

How many humans have gone deep enough inside to swim in the infinite realm of silence, beyond thoughts, emotions and physical body awareness? Which tribe does a person belong to, if one 'belongs' to this 'tribe'?

Are we our thoughts? What if we are NOT our thoughts? Are we our mind? What happens if the thoughts inside become quieter, with spaces between them? Do we die or lose something inside of the silence? What is in between those thoughts that go on and on without any seeming end? The only way to find out is to become silent and just sit. Watch for the silent spaces in between thoughts, much like the clear sky in between clouds. Silence is not the exclusive domain of Eastern religions and silence has little or nothing to do with meditation.

How does a school embrace peace education? We see how John of Rolleston Primary School, in the village of Rolleston-on-Dove, Staffordshire, puts peace at the heart of its community.

The film features some of the children’s own animations, exploring what they think a peaceful school, and peaceful classroom look like. The school works closely with Peacemakers (Peacemakers: peacemakers.org.uk ), a charity in Birmingham. Initially sceptical, year 3 Teacher Samantha Duda Spencer, explains the impact she sees regular Peacemaker circle time having on the children.

“They will be our citizens of the future; they’ll need to know how to manage conflicts, how to work together, how to be resilient, how to support and listen, teaching them from a young age will really do that”.

Headteacher, Richard Simcox, explains how peace education, “has a longevity and has an impact” which is why they have decided to “hold onto it” as part of the school’s core values.

“If all children had the opportunity to learn peacebuilding skills, and to take part in a curriculum led by peace, supported by peace, then we would have a more peaceful society. Quaker meetings need more psychological safety than ordinary organizations—even more than churches. That’s because we share intimate messages from the Spirit in our worship services. To say, out loud, things that are close to our soul makes us vulnerable, but we need to be able to share these in meetings for worship, business meetings, and clearness committees without fear of being attacked or excluded. If we don’t speak because we don’t feel safe enough to share what the Spirit calls us to say, Quakerism falls apart.

Learning about Fox made me realize that I didn’t have to suppress emotions like anger or avoid conflict to be a good Quaker. I asked a psychiatrist friend, who has been an active Quaker for decades, if there was much conflict avoidance in Quakerism. She emphatically said there was. She also pointed out the importance of distinguishing between feeling angry, and acting on your anger to hurt someone. Healthy anger, and the response to it, brings people closer together.

Reluctance to state hard truths isn’t an essential part of Quakerism. It’s just a preference of the middle class—one that can make meetings unsafe.
