The Industrial Revolution overcame the limitations of muscle power. 

The limitations of our minds are now becoming obsolete. 


Humans are full of limitations both in body and mind, compared to AI and robots. Truck drivers can only work for limited hours and they get sick. Humans have bills to pay, while robots and AI need ZERO PAY. Robots and AI can also work 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, while never complaining, and needing ZERO BENEFITS. Robots and AI do not pay taxes, nor take care of infrastructure. Robots/AI do not care about the future generations, community, education, worker pay, worker job conditions, or education.

The truck driver is now obsolete, as are packers, order takers, cashiers, check out clerks, secretaries, phone answering personnel, and assembly workers, and many other workers are now being replaced by robots and AI both in blue collar and white collar jobs. Women are the hardest hit demographic when it comes to robots/AI replacing them. So what do these and other obsolete workers do now? 

Those pushing AI and robots say that the public should not worry about it, nor slow it down, nor stop it. They are making more and more money by displacing workers. 

50% of all workers in the near future will either be replaced or threatened with displacement by AI or robots, including analysts, researchers, lawyers, doctors, reporters, traders, telemarketers, sales people, railroad workers, drivers, and more. 

Replacing workers  with robots/AI, also means decaying towns, stagnant or falling wages, growing poverty, and less job security. People are left with lower pay, worse job conditions, and the jobs that are left after robots/AI comes in, are being moved to cheaper slave labor countries like Communist China or Vietnam. 

The standard of living in the US has DROPPED by 15 percent or more, depending on the city/town, thanks to robots/AI and transferring jobs overseas, all for greater PROFIT that rolls up to billionaires. 

The buzzword of 'greater efficiency' means how does a company do whatever job with fewer or no workers at all, which then creates greater PROFIT, for the billionaires at the top. Due to robots/AI replacing middle and lower income workers, income inequality is growing by huge leaps and bounds. The rich are getting richer, and the middle class/poor are getting poorer. 

Automation is the substitution of labor workers by capital. The rich people with capital, make more money, while the labor workers make less and less, essentially becoming slaves to machines and those with capital. There is a war going on between billionaires with capital and union workers/labor. 

Robots/AI plus automation puts a huge force and power on the side of billionaires and capital, while taking power and jobs away from unions, workers/labor. So far, all of the 'benefits' in terms of profits and power are going to the billionaires and 1 percent, as it is taken away from the 99 percent. The wealthy are getting much wealthier in totally obscene ways. Society is being torn apart, and workers are being thrown into the abyss. 

Tech companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Walmart are gaining market share, power and wealth, as they leave non tech companies behind. As they replace more and more workers with robots, AI and computers, they are taking over democracy, freedom, human rights and free will choices that are now obsolete, because capital and PROFIT based robots/AI and computers place no value on these things. 

THE GOAL OF AI, ROBOTS AND BIG DATA IS MAKING MORE MONEY SHORT TERM, NO MATTER WHAT


MAKING MORE MONEY IS THE ONLY GOAL, with big data, robots, and AI. 

Social media is now controlling and using people, for PROFIT. 

Predatory capitalism is waging a war on Nature, by converting free air, water, soil, and resources like trees, into PROFIT at any cost, even if it destroys the world and all living things. Predatory capitalists are now also converting people into PROFIT via robots, AI and big data. Labor is now being sold, rented and purchased, as it competes with robots/AI, making labor worth less and less, to the point where people are seen as worthless slaves when compared to machines. 

Private human experiences are now being harvested by Big Data, for PROFIT in the form of surveillance. Your thoughts, your desires, your interests, your dreams, your habits, what you shop for, and who your friends are, are all PROFIT centers for AI/robots and the CAPITAL behind them all. 

Surveillance generates big data information, which generates huge PROFIT, because billionaires want to know all about you and what you want. Social media technology companies know who you are, where you go, what you think about, believe, invest in, and who your friends are. They can now predict what you are going to do, thus creating more PROFIT for predatory capitalists who want to know when and what you will buy. But at what point do these technology companies start 'steering' and controlling what you see, hear and think about, while censoring or filtering out things that do not make them a PROFIT? 

When do tech companies, combined with corporate mass media control what people see, hear and believe, in order to affect the outcome of elections, product selection, or other choices in life that maximize PROFIT, while minimizing or eliminating free will, choices and potentially free, lower cost or better choices in HIGH PROFIT/POWER areas such as politics, energy use, healthcare, vaccines, drugs, chemo, radiation, food, entertainment, etc? 

Billionaires like Mercer know that with enough money that they can buy the BIG DATA, and AI to manipulate elections, through companies like Cambridge Analytica. They know that they can commandeer the public opinions, beliefs and fears, while infecting democracy with corruption, deception and much worse, all in the name of accumulating more POWER and PROFIT. Billionaires do not care about freedom, rights, democracy or free will choices. They only care about personal PROFIT and POWER accumulation. 

Billionaires know exactly how to manipulate the few racist, bigoted or fear based voters that they need to sway any election, because it only takes a few votes to turn an election one way or the other in key swing areas or states. This manipulation leads to loss of what is known as 'full agency'. 

We believe that we have complete and absolute freedom to read what we want, to go where we want to, to choose what to buy, what to read, what to view, who to make friends with, or what services we engage. We believe that we have complete freedom about the thoughts and feelings we have. This is known as full agency. We are in charge. 

But the reality is that we are NOT IN CHARGE, and WE ARE NOT FREE to be, read, or choose what we want, because social media and mass media tell us what to believe, what to read, what to choose, and what to feel, (mostly fear). We no longer have free agency in the US, nor in many countries globally. 

China and other countries are creating a total global surveillance state, where everyone is monitored, controlled and managed, plus punished in various ways if they do not conform or 'obey' what billionaires are selling. 

Millions of people who resist this total surveillance and total control are sent to 'reeducation' camps in China.. China is becoming an open air prison. Not just in China but anywhere in the world, your phone calls, messages and social media posts are monitored and/or checked for 'compliance'. Any people who show resistance to a global top down, billionaire controlled society are punished. The Chinese type of system of total top down surveillance/control is being sold to many other countries, under the auspices of AI, using police 'law and order' reasoning. 

Tech companies combined with social media companies in China and the US are competing for total control and surveillance of everyone, everywhere. The backbone of the surveillance state is the 5G network, which has much better and higher data transmission rates, thus enabling much better/more surveillance.. You cannot turn off this surveillance and data collection, even if you try. Nothing exists in terms of high tech, which is free of surveillance, and/or secret backdoor monitoring. 

Billionaires and authoritarian leaders like Putin, Trump and Chi in China are changing constitutions, laws and rules, which enable them to accumulate more power and control, plus PROFIT for themselves, at the expense of the 99 percent. They use big data, high tech, mass media, social media, fear based messaging and surveillance to accomplish their goals of total absolute power and control. Technology is not increasing freedom or democracy. As a matter of fact, high tech is being used by the 1 percent to take over control and increase power in any country where it is allowed. 

In the book, AI Superpowers, the point is made that there are now two AI superpowers, China and the US, where predatory capitalism based on AI/robots and surveillance are celebrated, and anything else is suppressed, denied or ignored. The goal according to the author is to make AI a force for good, and 'liberate' us from mundane tasks, while giving us the freedom to do what we love. How do ruthless PROFIT oriented billionaires who control governments limit themselves, and not encroach on liberties, democracy and rights, via the us of AI/robots, social media and big data?

Currently, AI/robots and big data are NOT oriented towards building a better, more free, more democratic, more equal, greener sustainable society that benefits all workers, the environment and seven future generations. 

IF AI AND ROBOTS REPLACING WORKERS ARE SO 'GOOD' WHY ARE A RECORD NUMBER OF YOUNG ADULTS LIVING WITH THEIR PARENTS?

If AI is so good for everyone, why are only a few people benefiting from the uptick in high tech stock prices, but just about everyone else is losing money and tens of millions cannot even find a minimum wage part time job? 




Over Half Of All Young Adults Are Living With Their Parents – Highest Level In Modern American History
As the chaotic events of 2020 have unfolded, large numbers of young people have moved back in with their parents, and this has pushed the percentage of Americans in the 18 to 29-year-old age bracket that live with their parents to the highest level ever recorded. Without a doubt, the collapse of the economy has hit young adults particularly hard. About 59 million Americans have filed for unemployment over the past 24 weeks, and low wage workers have been disproportionally affected by this tsunami of job losses. Needless to say, young adults traditionally make up a large chunk of our low wage workers, and now that really tough times have hit a lot of them are being forced to fall back on their mothers and their fathers for support. According to a brand new report that was just put out by the Pew Research Center, 52 percent of all young adults in this country are now living with their parents…

A new report by the Pew Research Center found that a majority of young adults — 52% — lived with one or both of their parents in July. Pew’s analysis of monthly Census Bureau data notes that this is higher than any previous measurement.

“Before 2020, the highest measured value was in the 1940 census at the end of the Great Depression, when 48% of young adults lived with their parents,” says the report, published Friday. “The peak may have been higher during the worst of the Great Depression in the 1930s, but there is no data for that period.”


WHY ARE THE NUMBERS OF HOMELESS AND THOSE LIVING IN POVERTY INCREASING IF HIGH TECH, AI AND ROBOTS ARE SO GOOD FOR ALL OF US? 

If AI is so good for everyone, why are only a few people benefiting from the uptick in high tech stock prices, but more and more people are  unable to afford healthcare, a basic home, either via renting or buying?

A Columbia Journalism Review expose reveals that, to control global journalism, Bill Gates has steered over $250 million to the BBC, NPR, NBC, Al Jazeera, ProPublica, National Journal, The Guardian, the New York Times, Univision, Medium, the Financial Times, The Atlantic, the Texas Tribune, Gannett, Washington Monthly, Le Monde, Center for Investigative Reporting, Pulitzer Center, National Press Foundation, International Center for Journalists, and a host of other groups. To conceal his influence, Gates also funneled unknown sums via subgrants for contracts to other press outlets.

Gates also funds an army of independent fact checkers including the Poynter Institute and Gannett —which use their fact-checking platforms to “silence detractors” and to “debunk” as “false conspiracy theories” and “misinformation,” charges that Gates has championed and invested in biometric chips, vaccine identification systems, satellite surveillance, and COVID vaccines.

In 2007, the LA Times published one of the only critical investigations on the Gates Foundation, exposing Gates’s holdings in companies that hurt people his foundation claims to help, like industries linked to child labor. Lead reporter Charles Piller, says, “They were unwilling to answer questions and pretty much refused to respond in any sort of way…”


As billionaires accumulate more absolute power and wealth, via unlimited predatory capitalistic greed, racism and militarism, the 99 percent sink deeper into the dark abyss of poverty, hunger, poor health and depression. 

There is never enough to buy off greedy billionaires. 


Is it just a coincidence, that Gates only supports or pours his money into huge monopolistic greedy corporations, but never bottoms up, democratic, community based solutions? What happens to the free commons, if the only things that are allowed is for PROFIT, and HIGH COST?

The biggest employers in the 60's were union workplaces in the USA. Today, the biggest employers are all hostile to unions, and offer a bare minimum wage, with few or no benefits. Wal Mart workers qualify for welfare and/or food stamps, and often live in the parking lot, because they cannot even afford a basic rental or housing of any kind. 

This Tech-Stock Sell-Off Is a Sign Something Broke

If AI is so good for everyone, why are only a few billionaires increasing their wealth by huge amounts, but just about everyone else is losing their money, jobs, homes and healthcare? 



If Bhutan can figure out how to provide basic jobs, income, happiness, housing, and healthcare for everyone in their country, why can't the US?
