WHAT DOES GOD AND JESUS CHRIST HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN THE BIBLE?
1. Genesis 23:4 - ‘I am a stranger and an alien residing among you; give me property among you for a burying place, so that I may bury my dead out of my sight.’
2. Deuteronomy 10:19 - You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
7. Matthew 25:40 - Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of my brethren you did it to me.
8. Job 29:15-17 - I was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame. I was a father to the needy, and I championed the cause of the stranger. I broke the fangs of the unrighteous, and made them drop their prey from their teeth.
9. Leviticus 19:34 - The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

18. Luke 10:27 - You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.
19. Acts 10:34 - Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

Wouldn't you agree that 'enemies' can become friends, depending on time, space, and circumstances? Communist China, Vietnam and Soviet Russia used to be the worst 'enemy'. Now they are the best friends of the US. Our worst enemies of the past are now in many cases our best friends. A higher power knows this and urges us to love even our 'enemies', because they are in fact, possibly our best friends, if only we open our hearts and minds to them.
