US AND ALLIES CLAIM THAT MADURO IS REFUSING GOOD HEARTED HUMANITARIAN AID; WHAT IS THE REALITY?

Trump represents the 1 percent, not the 99 percent. Where is the proof? His agenda is the same as the 1 percent, who want to wage war and take over control of Venezuala. The punishing of all the people in Venezuala via sanctions is one way to try and foment unrest, riots and toppling the government, so a far right extremist who got ZERO votes installed via an illegal, immoral coup.

The cover story being promoted by pro 1 percent mass media is that humanitarian aid is being refused by Maduro, when the opposite is actually the truth of what is going on. You cannot starve a whole nation, and then offer bread crumbs to a couple people, and then claim you are being a humanitarian.

Why is Vietnam socialism so good, but Venezuala socialism is so bad?

In Vietnam, Trump finds a ‘socialist’ country he likes – POLITICO
But this week, the U.S. leader has been praising Vietnam, the socialist-in-name country hosting his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. In fact, Trump has pointed to Vietnam’s economic advances as a model Kim could emulate if he gives up his nuclear weapons.

“Vietnam is thriving like few places on earth,” Trump tweeted Wednesday. “North Korea would be the same, and very quickly, if it would denuclearize. The potential is AWESOME, a great opportunity, like almost none other in history, for my friend Kim Jong Un.”

During his meeting with Vietnamese leaders the same day, Trump waved a small Vietnamese flag, praised growing U.S.-Vietnam economic ties, and signed new trade deals. The president’s public schedules also used the country’s full official name: the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Though it is standard diplomatic protocol to refer to foreign countries by their preferred name, the repeated presence of the word in official White House statements this week was jarring.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VENEZUALA AND SAUDI ARABIA? WHY ARE WE NOT SANCTIONING AND INVADING THE SAUDIS?

The Saudis nationalized the former US oil company assets in Saudi Arabia, using that money to benefit the Saudi citizens. This is socialism, wouldn't you agree? Why does Trump love Saudi Arabia socialism so much, but then hates Venezuala and it's socialism so much?

It is well known fact that the Saudis financed the attacks on the US on 9/11, and they are a despotic, human rights violating country that beheads their own citizens for doing nothing but saying this truth. The Saudi prince also killed and dismembered a US journalist in an embassy and nothing was done about it.

How many times will the US and it's pro coup 'allies' be able to get away with overturning a popular and democratic election via foreign interference, sanctions, and/or illegal invasions?

Venezuela Coverage Takes Us Back to Golden Age of Lying About Latin America | FAIR
That demonstration showed considerable support for the government of President Nicolás Maduro and widespread rejection of Donald Trump’s choice for president of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó. Guaidó, who proclaimed himself to be president of the country and was recognized minutes later by Trump, even though a public opinion poll showed that 81 percent of Venezuelans had never heard of him, comes from the ultra-right faction in Venezuelan politics.

The pro-Maduro demonstration suggested, not surprisingly, that Guaidó had failed to win much popular support outside the wealthy and upper-middle class. But Guaidó couldn’t even win support from many of them. The day before rival rallies February 2, Henrique Capriles, the leader of a less extreme right-wing faction, gave an interview to the AFP that appeared in Últimas Noticias (2/1/19), the most widely read newspaper in Venezuela. In it, Capriles said that most of the opposition had not supported Guaidó’s self-proclamation as president. That may explain the surprisingly weak turnout at Guaidó’s demonstration, held in the wealthiest district of Caracas, and obviously outshone by the pro-government demonstration on the city’s main boulevard.
The New York Times did not show pictures of that pro-government demonstration, limiting itself to a claim by unnamed “experts” (2/2/19) that the pro-government demonstration was smaller than the anti-government one.

If anyone bothers to compare pictures of both left and right wing protests, one can easily see that the crowds that are PRO Maduro are much larger than those who are protesting him. That should speak volumes.

THE US CIA HAS INTERFERED IN SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES ELECTIONS 41 TIMES

United States Interventions | ReVista
In the slightly less than a hundred years from 1898 to 1994, the U.S. government has intervened successfully to change governments in Latin America a total of at least 41 times. That amounts to once every 28 months for an entire century (see table).

Direct intervention occurred in 17 of the 41 cases. These incidents involved the use of U.S. military forces, intelligence agents or local citizens employed by U.S. government agencies. In another 24 cases, the U.S. government played an indirect role. That is, local actors played the principal roles, but either would not have acted or would not have succeeded without encouragement from the U.S. government.

While direct interventions are easily identified and copiously documented, identifying indirect interventions requires an exercise in historical judgment. The list of 41 includes only cases where, in the author’s judgment, the incumbent government would likely have survived in the absence of U.S. hostility. The list ranges from obvious cases to close calls. An example of an obvious case is the decision, made in the Oval Office in January 1963, to incite the Guatemalan army to overthrow the (dubiously) elected government of Miguel Ydígoras Fuentes in order to prevent an open competitive election that might have been won by left-leaning former President Juan José Arévalo. A less obvious case is that of the Chilean military coup against the government of President Salvador Allende on September 11, 1973. The Allende government had plenty of domestic opponents eager to see it deposed. It is included in this list because U.S. opposition to a coup (rather than encouragement) would most likely have enabled Allende to continue in office until new elections.

The 41 cases do not include incidents in which the United States sought to depose a Latin American government, but failed in the attempt. The most famous such case was the failed Bay of Pigs invasion of April 1961. Also absent from the list are numerous cases in which the U.S. government acted decisively to forestall a coup d’etat or otherwise protect an incumbent regime from being overthrown.

Left Connect "A huge anti-government demonstration was supposed to make possible a coup d’état, a maneuver the CIA has used repeatedly—in Iran in 1953, Guatemala in 1954, Brazil in 1964 and many more, straight through to Honduras in 2009 and Ukraine in 2015. The turnout at the Trump administration’s demonstration was disappointing, and the coup d’état never occurred. The result is that Trump has expressed a sudden interest in getting food and medicine to Venezuelans.

Trump, who let thousands die in Puerto Rico and put small children in cages on the Mexican border, seems to be an unlikely champion of humanitarian aid to Latin Americans, but the corporate media have straight-facedly pretended to believe it."

VENEZUALA MUST SUE IN THE INTERNATIONAL COURT AND TAKE THE US PLUS ALL OTHER NATIONS SUPPORTING THIS ILLEGAL COUP INTO AN OPEN SESSION AND PRESENT THE EVIDENCE SO THE WHOLE WORLD CAN HEAR AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON

Venezuela MUST Sue US in Int’l. Court for Creating Famine by Sanctioning All Oil Sales

Venezuelan oil exports plunge on ‘harsher’ US sanctions

On 12 Feb. 2019, as reported by RT News:

“US government seeks to essentially shut in the country’s oil sector.

Reuters reported that even prior to last Friday’s clarification from the US Treasury, European buyers were already slashing purchases because of concerns over payments. Reuters reported that two of the world’s largest oil traders, Vitol and Trafigura, said that they would comply with all US sanctions.

The Wall Street Journal reported oil storage is “filling up” in Venezuela because of a lack of buyers.

Moreover, not only are the effects of the sanctions more far-reaching, but also more immediate. PDVSA, Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. the Venezuelan state-owned oil and natural gas company has demanded upfront payment, likely because it fears not being paid at all or having the revenues steered to the opposition. Indeed, the US effort to steer PDVSA and its revenues into the hands of the US-backed opposition leader Juan Gauido appears to be a decisive turning point.

Oil tankers linked to Chevron, Lukoil and Respsol are delayed, redirected or sitting offshore because of lack of payment. The WSJ says that several of those tankers … are now anchored off the coast of Maracaibo sitting idle. “This is an absolute disaster,” Luis Hernandez, a Venezuelan oil union leader, told the WSJ. “There’s almost no way to move the oil.”

Unable to sell any oil, the Venezuelan government could quickly run out of cash. The result could be a humanitarian catastrophe, a merciless and destructive objective that the Trump administration seems to have in mind.

Also:

The Bank of England is currently withholding $1.2 billion in gold from Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s government, but is being urged by Washington to release it to the chairman of the National Assembly, Juan Guaido. Last week, the US backed Guaido as the legitimate president of Venezuela, after he declared himself interim president.

The Venezuelan government must sue the US government in the International Court of Justice for creating famine by & sanctioning all its oil sales & seizing its bank deposits.

First of All

According to the Charter of the United Nations[1], only the UN Security Council has a mandate by the international community to apply sanctions (Article 41). Only the UN Security Council!

Secondly:

Principle 6 of the Nuremberg Principles of International Law[2] defines

Crimes against humanity:

(c) inhuman acts done against any civilian population. I.e. inhuman acts done against any civilian population is a crime against humanity deserving punishment.

Stealing, confiscating and misappropriating of funds needed to feed a population and blocking its government with sanctions from income in trade in order to feed its population certainly are certainly current and past inhuman acts against the civilian population of Venezuela.

And Thirdly:

The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide[3] was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 9 December 1948 The Convention entered into force on 12 January 1951.

United Nations -Treaty Series

Convention on Genocide

Article I

The Contracting Parties confirm that genocide is a crime under international law which they undertake to prevent and to punish.

Article II

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethical, racial or religious group, as such:

(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part:

Officials of United States government are deliberately inflicting on the Venezuelan nation conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in part and causing serious bodily and mental harm to Venezuelans, and by The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide adopted by the United Nations General Assembly this is a punishable crime of genocide.

The Venezuela government MUST sue the US in the International Court of Justice for creating famine by & blocking all oil sales & seizing bank deposits.

In 1986, the International Court of Justice in adjudicating The Republic of Nicaragua v. The United States of America, held that the U.S. had violated international law by supporting the Contras in their rebellion against the Nicaraguan government and by mining Nicaragua’s harbors. Never mind that the United States refused to participate in the proceedings after the Court rejected its argument that the ICJ lacked jurisdiction to hear the case. Never mind that U.S. also blocked enforcement of the judgment by the United Nations Security Council and thereby prevented Nicaragua from obtaining any compensation. The General Assembly voted twice in favor of a resolution calling for full and immediate compliance with the judgement with only Israel voting against with the USA, but more importantly, probably because of the great attention the US conviction received in ‘the court of public opinion,’ the US stopped mining Nicaragua’s harbors and lessened outright support for the Contras murderous attacks.

The Venezuela government must sue the United States in the International Court of Justice for creating famine by & blocking all its oil sales & stealing its bank deposits. Let this crime be dramatized and condemned in the ‘world wide court of public opinion.’

1.

The Charter of the United Nations (also known as the UN Charter) of 1945 is the foundational treaty of the United Nations, an intergovernmental organization.[1]The UN Charter articulated a commitment to uphold human rights of citizens and outlined a broad set of principles relating to achieving ‘higher standards of living’, addressing ‘economic, social, health, and related problems,’ and ‘universal respect for, and observance of, human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion.’[2] As a charter, it is a constituent treaty, and all members are bound by its articles. Furthermore, Article 103 of the Charter states that obligations to the United Nations prevail over all other treaty obligations.[1][3]
2.
