Someone Interfered in the UK Election, and It Wasn’t Russia
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has been described as the most smeared politician in history, and this is a fair description. Journalist Matt Kennard recently compiled documentation of dozens of incidentsin which former and current spooks and military officials collaborated with plutocratic media institutions to portray Corbyn as a threat to national security. Journalistic accountability advocates like Media Lens and Jonathan Cook have been working for years to compile evidence of the mass media’s attempts to paint Corbyn as everything from a terrorist sympathizer to a Communist to a Russian asset to an IRA supporter to a closet antisemite. Just the other day The Grayzone documented how establishment narrative manager Ben Nimmo was enlisted to unilaterally target Corbyn with a fact-free Russiagate-style conspiracy theory in the lead-up to the election, a psyop that was uncritically circulated by both right-wing outlets like The Telegraph as well as ostensibly “left”-wing outlets like The Guardian.

Just as Corbyn’s advocacy for the many over the plutocratic few saw him targeted by billionaire media outlets, his view of Palestinians as human beings saw him targeted by the imperialist Israel lobby as exposed in the Al Jazeera documentary The Lobby. For a mountain of links refuting the bogus antisemitism smear directed at Corbyn, a lifelong opponent of antisemitism, check out the deluge of responses to this query I made on Twitter the other day.

A free and healthy society would not work this way. A free and healthy society would view all forms of manipulation as taboo and unacceptable. A free and healthy society would not allow the will of members of one small elite class to carry more weight than the will of anyone else. A free and healthy society would give everyone an equal voice at the table, and look after everyone’s concerns. It certainly wouldn’t tolerate a few individuals who already have far too much abusing their power and wealth to obtain even more.


STILL NO COHERENT PLAN TO EXIT THE EU


As of today, there is no coherent plant to exit the EU. 

If no agreement is reached, then the UK exits the EU without any agreements, and no plan about how it will work. The result will most likely be pure chaos. Of course, fascists love chaos, because desperate people usually grant fascist leaders absolute power when things fall apart. Fascism thrives in countries where government and/or social programs are purposely demonized, attacked and emasculated. The end goal of fascism is to privatize everything, so that corporations can end up in control of government, and this is what defines fascism.

The Prime Minister has repeatedly defended plans to impose tough curbs on EU workers after Brexit by arguing they are needed to protect Britons in lower-paid jobs.

But, the Liberal Democrat leader said: “When I was Business Secretary, there were up to nine studies that we looked at that took in all the academic evidence.

HOW IS THIS BREXIT THING GOING? 



The easy way to understand Brexit is to imagine a red state Virginia trying to take itself out of the USA and become a separate sovereign nation based on someone like Trump saying Nationalism is good, so let's break all of our domestic and international agreements. What would happen? And to make it clearer, what if within Virginia, one of the major cities within it decided that they wanted to stay in the USA, and not secede from it, which is the equivalent of Ireland not wanting to leave the EU, but it is part of the island land mass that makes up the British UK? The problem is that no one in Ireland wants a border wall between Ireland and the UK and they also don't want passports, visas, or even a border of any kind.

How would Virginia handle this secession from the union that is the USA, and all of the complications that arise out of it? Borders, border agents, walls and fences would have to be set up all the way around this new country of Virginia. Everyone living inside Virginia would have to get visas and passports to leave this new country, to visit anyone in the rest of the US. The same would apply for US citizens wanting to visit this new country that would be separate from the US. Companies would have to decide if they wanted to stay and pay tariffs to trade with the US from within this new country called Virginia, or leave and let this little upstart country sink on it's own. 

The last time a few states tried to secede from the larger US union, it resulted in the Civil War.

THE PROBLEM WITH IRELAND WILL NOT BE SO EASY TO SOLVE

The EU is the equivalent of the US in terms of many different 'states' combining all of their combined strengths into one larger union of nations, via eliminating borders, visas and passports, plus many different currencies. The benefits of the US and EU are that there is one currency, no borders, and a stronger financial base to work from. The EU is much like the US combining many different states into one larger nation of states. The weakness or downside is that this larger country is more subject to take over by the 1 percent, as local and state control is lost.

THE PRO BREXIT EXPERTS CLAIM IT WILL MAKE THE UK STRONG AND STABLE



The pro Brexit Exit experts are claiming that they promote a 'strong and stable' UK by removing themselves from the EU, and privatizing everything.

Just like Trump in the US, MAGA is a big thing with the old, white conservatives and the 1 percent who are for the most part, driving the Brexit exit.

So how is this Brexit secession from the EU working out?

It turns out that trying to remove one state from a nation that is made up of many states is not so easy, and the downsides greatly outweigh the upsides, for many and varied reasons. Let's go deeper into why Brexit is not working out as planned. 

Even if and when the UK ends up leaving the EU, the downside consequences will be happening, no matter what.

Brits who voted Leave in the EU referendum are more likely to describe themselves as “racially prejudiced” than those who voted Remain, according to new research.

A survey of 2,220 people found that 34% of Leave voters admitted holding racist attitudes compared to 18% of Remain voters.

The study, conducted by the National Centre for Social Research, found 26% of Britons still described themselves as “very” or “a little” prejudiced towards people of other races.

Given the fact that racists almost never admit that they are racist, it means that the above statistic is actually a lowball figure and the real number is actually much higher.

MANY LIBERALS AND PROGRESSIVES VOTED FOR BREXIT IN ATTEMPT TO VOICE OPPOSITION TO THE NEOLIBERAL 1 PERCENT CUTTING SOCIAL PROGRAMS

John Williams On the other side, more reactionary Tories such as Boris and Moggs, (who are also, of course pro-business!) but are manifestations of Capitalism in crisis, the old regime and consensus seems to be degrading, and so are trying to find new ways of attacking the working class and International solidarity. And have taken the more nationalist, anti-immigration view point that still exists amongst areas of the working class and want Brexit as more of a symbol for the British empire and Imperialism- which has partially helped, (with the assistance of big media) with the alt-right and neo-fascists getting a platform. 

The EU referendum was essentially a referendum on Cameron’s government... it was rejected. Biggest turnout in vote since 1992. Most leave areas were the poorest and 70% of leave wards are labour. Then just over a year later, Corbyn as labour leader managed to get labour its biggest increase in vote since 1945. Biggest turnout in vote since 1997. What are we saying, most people who were convinced by the official leave campaign led by UKIP and the majority of Tory MPs, full of anti-immigration rhetoric and racism were also convinced by Corbyn? Rubbish, the numbers don’t add up. 

Most leave voters I’ve spoken to who have not been political said they voted leave because the Tory government did fuck all for them, they were poor and suffering under austerity and needed a change- it was a symbolic vote that was anti-establishment vote. Sure, a lot of them might not know exactly what the single market is or the customs union, but those structures within the EU helped austerity etc- hence a vote against them. Again, Corbyn is only VERY recently came out saying all this. It’s welcome, but 3 years too late! He should have backed a socialist leave campaign, that way the split in labour would be certain, then the left could unite behind labour with socialist candidates. If he backed a socialist leave campaign he would have been pm by now. The numbers seem to point towards that but the idea to most remainers probably seems farcical. It just shows how people vote according to how most people on "their side" vote, because had Corbyn backed Brexit then a lot of these hard remainers may not even be remainers. 

What we must look at, is the political and class forces that are deciding to align themselves with a ‘people’s vote’. Firstly, the green party, who’s membership and following are largely middle class, who don’t understand that the leave vote was largely stimulated by a rejection of the current political landscape from the working class, and not a racist endvour. Thy also proudly ‘green capitalists’, and although are radical social democrats, don’t take on capitalism and all its interiors; profit, not promoting worker’s control and think protecting the single market and its big business links are the only way to protect workers and jobs. Politically, this is very flimsy and would struggle to convince mass areas of the working class. 

Remain Tory’s, the liberals and the Blairites would prefer the UK to remain in the EU and for us to follow the rules of the neoliberal EU. More importantly, these 3 political forces are joining together against Corbyn, who’s manifesto last year got a large echo from new areas of the working class, and old-disfranchised labour voters; but only did so, (at last partially), because Corbyn respected the referendum result and as only able to be radical in his reforms, as the Brexit vote unleashed a conversation of how far Corbyn could go with his manifesto and taking on institutions like the EU and others. Just look at the new, radical policies Corbyn has been able to push since the Brexit vote?! This new-found confidence in Corbyn and a rejection of the current political landscape is key to Corbyn’s success- and will be again. Of course, this is something the Blairites do not want! 

What would happen if red-Tory’s like Chuka had their way and labour put forward an official ‘peoples vote’ as policy? 70% of labour wards, (some of the poorest areas in the UK) voted leave, and so a betrayal of the vote, and a complete overhaul to what Corbyn has said for 2 years- and as if their vote doesn’t matter and they’re somehow stupid would not help Corby’s chances. Most likely, it would split the working class, trust in Corbyn and the left of the labour party would disintegrate and the prospect of a labour government, (at least lead by a left winger) would be in tatters. The Blairites know this and is this is something they’ll won’t stop campaigning on. Scared of the momentum of Corbyn’s ideas, they’re trying to mobilise a new ’centrist’ party with the liberals and remain Tory’s. The only thing we know about this embarrassing idea so far? A promise of a ‘people’s vote’. Differences aside, they would absolutely unite on a traditional centrist Blaire like program, a promise to revert back to the political consensus, and regain the political conversation Corbyn has soaked up. They would attack Labour on any grounds, they would be ruthless, lie and use the most horrific smears against Corbyn possible. Of course, this is already happening. It’s not a coincidence that one of the things the Tory’s, liberals and the Blairites agree on, is the supposedly antisemitism in the labour party? Imagine if they officially joined forces. Do left wingers ant to be associated with this? 

Then of course, we must look at the practicality of a second referendum. It would be the Tory’s who would set the agenda and conditions on the second referendum. What would the 2nd referendum be on? Yes or no for the deal that May negotiates? Well we would probably vote no but that would not mean we are in favour of the EU or staying in. Would the anti-Tory votes of Leavers be counted as Remainers and the first referendum vote reversed? Would the anti-neoliberal vote of a socialist be counted equally as a fascist who wants less immigration? It simply does not stack up. If it was for or against the deal, then what would be the consequence of a no vote? Working class leavers opposed to the deal May negotiates would vote against the deal but not against Brexit. Better to elect a government that would re-negotiate. A lot of people would (rightly) see it as double jeopardy and angrily abstain. Who would they back then? UKIP were smashed by the Leave vote, but a second referendum would bring them back- and the Tories too with a vengeance. Just look at the council elections where most of the previously Tory votes went to UKIP, but in the general election the year before the UKIP vote swung to the Tories. So, there is clearly a danger of the working class rejecting Corbyn if he retreats. Also, we don’t want racists and ideological Tory’s to have a say on how leave the EU, the peoples vote would not pick a side, which is what we want any vote to be about. A vote to reflect what the working class needs and desires- we wouldn’t give the boss’s a vote in a trade union dispute would we? Some would say this is against democracy, but socialists say is that the ideas of Corbyn objectively has the backing from most of the planet. And for god’s sake, we put the opinions of our class, (which has large areas of poverty) who want radical change first. The whole idea of a second referendum then, would not be a free people’s vote. 

It has been suggested, that if the Tories collapse before Brexit, and we get Corbyn as PM, it would be no problem with us at that point defending a people’s vote. This of course, would make no difference, it would still have the same problems as previously said, and what if the outcome of the peoples vote had conflictions with any part of Corbyn’s manifesto? Would Corbyn then implement a Brexit he doesn’t agree with, and could potentially water down his program? Its entirely possible, that the electorate could vote in a Corbyn government and simultaneously vote for a Brexit that partly could conflict with Corbyn’s program. Some labour voters might disagree with Brexit of course, and some might disagree with parts of Corbyn’s program. Let’s not put ourselves in a position where this could take place for god’s sake- imagine the consequences. 

All these contradictions and difficulties of course, clearly demonstrates the limitations and contradictory nature of electoralism and liberal democracy in the form of a vote every five years, etc. by capitalism and the established elite, where the conditions of any vote is never in favour of the working class. If we had worker and community control, proper control of all elected representatives, and control of the intuitions, we wouldn’t face these problems! 

The chaos since the Brexit vote has shown me the need for revolution and socialism very clearly. In the here and now though, socialists should unite on fighting the Tories and getting a socialist Brexit. By demanding a meaningful vote by MP’s in parliament right up till we leave the EU, and fight for a general election and get a Corbyn government to implement the best Brexit possible, so he can be a blueprint to build a society for the many, not the few, for the millions, not the millionaires. That would be a true people’s vote."

PRO FASCISM NEOCON AND NEOLIBERAL 1 PERCENT ARE PUTTING IN PLACE 'AUSTERITY' PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO CUT OR DISMANTLE SOCIAL AND SAFETY NET PROGRAMS ALL OVER THE WORLD, INCLUDING IN THE UK

Just like in the US, conservatives globally are reducing taxes for the 1 percent, while cutting social programs for the 99 percent, in order to pay for the deficits caused by cutting taxes on the rich. 

A report released today by Centre for Cities has revealed the cities in Great Britain hit the hardest by austerity cuts to local authority services. As our chart shows, Barnsley has seen the harshest of the decreases, and by a country mile. Compared to 2009/2010, cuts have resulted in a 40.4 percent fall in spending as of 2017/2018. The second most-affected city has been Liverpool, with a 31.8 percent decrease. Not many cities were fortunate enough to experience an increase, with Luton and Oxford the notable exceptions with increases of 20.9 and 14.7 percent, respectively.

Unfortunately, what Humphrey’s betrays is something I’ve heard several times from those who went to posh boarding schools. They have a warped view of history that’s about as biased as the sort you’d get in a madrasa and comes with an equivalent fanatical zeal to match. They can’t for the life of them understand why Ireland left the UK in the first place, nor the Americans or Canadians. Nor can they understand the hostility that references to the British empire stirs up among many in Asia. Or why it might be a bit of a diplomatic faux paus to quote Imperialist poets in a Myanmar temple (yes Boris actually did this!).

And there are large elements of UK history that the British believe in which is just flat out wrong. For example, you’ll often be told that there’s been no successful invasion of the UK since 1066. Well actually, there have been dozens of them. Numerous ones by the Scottish (the Welsh even had a go once or twice), two successful invasions during the war of the roses, another which put William of Orange on the throne and of course the infamous raid on the Medway (the Dutch sailed down the Thames and burnt the British fleet at anchor)to name a few. Hell one wonders why the UK landing cards, don’t include under “reasons for visiting” the option “invade this wretched isle and reclaim my birthright”.

And this also warps their world view leaving many Brits with a form of selective blindness. Its what drives their view of British exceptionalism (that the UK should be allowed to leave the EU and yet still enjoy all the benefits, without paying for the privilege). Which leads to an inability to spot the obvious hypocrisies of, for example, leading Brexiteers loudly proclaiming how Brexit is a great idea, while moving their firms outside of the UK in advance of Brexit. Or availing themselves of an EU passport (a privilege that’s not open to those who can’t afford a 2nd home overseas, doubly so now that its been made clear British expats will lose access to healthcare).

MANY SMALL PLUS LARGE COMPANIES ARE MOVING OUT OF THE UK BEFORE BREXIT EVEN HAPPENS, DUE TO CUSTOMS ISSUES PLUS COSTS AND THE UNCERTAINTIES WHICH ARE CREATING FINANCIAL INSTABILITY

The delusion is that leaving the EU will make the UK better and stronger. In reality, businesses are already voting with their feet and leaving the UK. How does businesses leaving the UK make the UK stronger and better? Got insanity?

Arnaud de Bresson, chief executive of French business network Paris Europlace, said roughly 260 businesses, which principally operate from the UK, are “in the phase of confirmation and implementation” ahead of moving some operations to France.

And according to Hub.Brussels, the Belgian government agency working to bring foreign companies to the city, the number of UK companies that have expanded or moved operations to Brussels has doubled since the 2016 referendum.

In the 31-month period following the Brexit vote, the agency claims between 95 and 100 companies created a new legal entity in Brussels.

AGR predicts that if the UK actually does this insane Brexit thing, that even more companies will leave, not less.

He is extremely wealthy, staunchly Roman Catholic, a clear friend to fascist groups and has his eyes fixed on being the actual political leader of this fucking prison island (after May decomposes fully).

He was raised by his nanny. After prep school he attended Eton college and then Oxford university (for the poshest people in the country).

Him and his wife have a 100 million quid together, they just bought a new house in London for 5 million, he makes 168,000 pounds a year from his partnership in a hedgefund business called Somerset Capital Management that is worth 7.5 billion pounds (apparently it invests in tobacco, mining and oil and is based in offshore tax havens, for those who care about such details). He proudly claims he has never changed a nappy in his life despite having 6 kids.

He uses his religion as an excuse for his xenophobic views. He is opposed to same sex marriage and contraception, he is against feminism, LGBTQI people and specifically gender re-assignment.

He is opposed to abortion in all circumstances including cases of rape.

He has argued for the abolition of environmental protections and for fracking, he is pro fox hunting and has also argued for the Conservative party to be almost entirely white skinned.

He is opposed to immigration, he supports zero hours contracts and loves the equally charming DUP (Northern Irelands right-wing Democratic Unionist Party) and the Conservative governments billion pound deal with them.

THE EU IS OFFICIALLY PROMOTING NUCLEAR POWER VIA EURATOM, SO BREXIT OPENS THE CRACK IN THE DOOR FOR INDIVIDUAL EU COUNTRIES TO WITHDRAW FROM EURATOM AND EU

If the UK is allowed to exit, many other countries within the EU may do the same thing. This exit strategy may even spread to the US, and individual states may secede from the union of states. Where will that lead, and what are the complications from this potential happening? 

Monopolies don't like giving up power or control on any level. The nuclear industry is a monopoly and once they gain power, they don't want to lose it. Renewable energy is threatening this monopoly, because wind and solar are now cheaper than coal, oil and nuclear energy on a utility scale. 

ENERGYPOST: "EURATOM is valid indefinitely and unlike the Lisbon Treaty does not include a withdrawal clause. For this reason, to this day the German Federal Government has rejected continuous calls to leave the treaty and in this way has officially been supporting nuclear energy despite its own nuclear phase-out by 2022. Every new EU member state becomes a EURATOM member by default. Brexit means the reverse case must apply – the UK would have to withdraw from the EURATOM Treaty too.

This means the British government would not be able to count on EURATOM financial and research support anymore. That’s the first bit of good news: it implies that Brexit might be the final nail in the coffin of the UK’s Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant project. Although EURATOM did not officially provide for a feed-in compensation for Hinkley Point C, DG Competition of the European Commission in 2014 did approve the UK government’s state aid for the project, based in part on DG Energy’s approval of the project in 2012 under the Euratom treaty.

Most importantly, as a result of Brexit the UK government will not be able to count on favourable EURATOM loans anymore, nor on the research programmes and disposal documents that EURATOM member states profit significantly from.

Note that other nuclear power projects in the UK are also affected. Thus, for example, the future of the Joint European Torus (JET) fusion reactor, operated on behalf of Euratom by the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy near Oxford, is now in doubt.

WHERE IS THIS ALL GOING? WHAT IF WE FORGAVE ALL DEBTS EVERY 7 YEARS, AND CELEBRATED A YEAR OF JUBILEE EVERY 50 YEARS BOTH INDIVIDUALLY, REGIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY?

It is always darkest before the dawn. Everything that is unsustainable and not in harmony with Nature and spiritual laws must eventually collapse and disappear, either by force or by choice. The artificial and unsupportable artificial fiat money debts created globally must all disappear. What works for 7 future generations without causing harm? The answer to that is what could replace the failing, collapsing system.

In the Bible, there was a mandate to dissolve all debts every 7 and 50 years. Due to not following this spiritual law of forgiveness, there are many negative consequences. 

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. — Leviticus 25:10 

Yet on the other hand, God was well aware of poor people who could not pay back money loaned to them. The loans they got were really gifts by the creditor to them in their poverty. Notice the law concerning what you owed was completely cancelled every seventh year in a seven-year cycle that lead up to the Jubilee year in the fiftieth year, which is stated in Deuteronomy 15, especially in verses 1 and 2.

In other words, all debts will be forgiven, and all debts will be considered paid EVERY 7 YEARS. All prisoners will be released from jail, and all property used for loans will be freed from debt EVERY 50 YEARS. Financially, this kind of system is much more sustainable, because it would mean an end to debt every 7 years. Whatever could not work with 7 years of debt and a maximum of 50, would not be started, and that is much better than what we have now. 

This law, if implemented and observed, would keep the 1 percent from buying up everything and owning everything, plus it would release a lot of people from slavery and financial poverty. Instead of a constant and never ending burden of debt both individually, regionally and internationally, all debts for everyone globally would disappear every 7 and every 50 years.

THE CORRUPTED, DARK TOXIC ENERGY OF TOP DOWN 1 PERCENT CONTROLLED MONOPOLIES MUST BE REPLACED BY A SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM BASED ON BOTTOMS UP RULE AND DIRECT DEMOCRACY
