HOW TO TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD WITH A FOLDING BIKE, IT IS ALSO A TRANSPORT SOLUTION FOR THE HOMELESS


This is the folding bicycle that I have been traveling on through China for the past year. When I want to bike, I ride it; when I want to take a train or bus, I fold it up and carry it on. It is the ultimate travel vehicle.

Imagine a homeless person with this portable transportation solution. The backpack weight is carried by the bike. Travelers and the homeless have to carry everything they own. There is usually no storage at emergency homeless shelters, which is a huge problem all by itself.

The homeless are always being forced to move either via a legal eviction, a police 'sweep' or via forced circumstances, such as a property being sold and converted to another use. All emergency short term homeless housing solutions need to include a plan for moving the 'camp' from one location to another. Bike towable micro homes are one potential solution.
