The news from Fukushima gets worse. Twenty Five miles from Fukushima cesium 137 levels have reached more than twice the levels the Soviets used to decide whether or not land around Chenobyl should be abandoned, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency which is doing testing. The IAEA team found radioactivity at 3.7 million becquerels per square meter and the Chernobyl standard for land abandonment was 1.48 million. Of all the disturbing facts out of Fukushima since March 11th, this one is the worst yet.

For example, there are 1,090 square miles of land surrounding the destroyed Chernobyl reactor that Ukraine classifies as an uninhabitable radioactive exclusion zone because radioactive fallout left more than 104 Curies of cesium- 137 per square mile on the land that makes up the zone. Scientists believe it will be 180 to 320 years before Cesium-137 around Chernobyl disappears from the environment.

In the second Chernobyl map the areas which have more than 40 curies of Cs-137 are classed as closed zones, in modern units this translates into 1.48 TBq per square kilometer.

One Becquerel is equal to one atomic disintegration per second.
One Curie is defined as that amount of any radioactive material that will decay at a rate of 37 billion disintegrations per second.
So one Curie equals 37 billion Becquerels.
However, approximately 300 square miles adjacent to the destroyed Fukushima reactors were so contaminated that they were declared uninhabitable. 159,000 Japanese were evicted from this radioactive “exclusion zone.” They lost their homes, property, and businesses, and most have received only a small compensation to cover the costs of their living as evacuees.

So let’s go back to Belarus where the average level of contamination on the polluted territories was 37Ci/km2 and the maximum safe limit for residency is 5Ci/km2. We had 27 million curies released in the first 20 days (Fukushima) and that would contaminate an area of approximately five million square kilometers if distributed equally. Of course that never happens as we can see in the fallout patterns surrounding Chernobyl. It can be assumed that the worst of the radiation was released in the first month with the complete meltdown of multiple reactor cores and the destruction and probably vaporization of spent-fuel rods.

The above map is more true to what actually happened after 3/11, but it does not really show the negative impact on the ocean, and on the rest of the world, because the vast majority of the deadly  heavy metal radioactive poisons went out and traveled around the world, including the USA. 

CHERNOBYL CESIUM RADIATION PER SQUARE KILOMETER

Chernobyl was not just a local event.

Chernobyl was a global disaster and had global impacts.




Thus, slightly more than 1/3 of ONE GRAM of cesium 137, deposited across a square mile of land as a smoke or gas, is enough to render that land uninhabitable for decades. Contamination of ~10 curies per square km, ~25 curies per square mile, or ~1/3 of a gram of Cs 137 per sq mi, renders the area unfit for raising crops or livestock. For comparison, dozens of nuclear power plants in the US hold fuel rods containing more than 100 million curies of Cs 137. Remember that just 100 curies can render 1 sq mi uninhabitable.

This radiation does not just magically go away or disappear. Yes, it may sink down into the ground, where radiation meters cannot 'see' it from the air, so things may look like they are improving from a helicopter radiation meter, but if one digs into the ground, the same high radiation levels will be found, and the same HUNDREDS if not thousands of different heavy metal radioactive poisons are still there, decaying away.

The pro nuclear media report that only a few 'grams' of nuclear material escaped from Fukushima, despite three or more complete reactors and several fuel pools burning, melting down and/or blowing out, each of which contained 100 TONS of highly radioactive materials. Each reactor contained the equivalent of 1,000 nuclear bombs worth or radiation, and the spent fuel pools were much worse and had much more radiation in them.


Just using common sense, what happens to 300 tons of highly radioactive fuel evaporates via fire and/or explosion, which is then added to with another 500 tons or more of spent fuel pool from various spent fuel pool fires/explosions? That is quite a different picture than the couple of grams that the pro nuclear media claims escaped from Fukushima.

JAPAN HAS 30,000 SQUARE KILOMETERS EXCEEDING 10,000 BQ/M2 RADIATION CONTAMINATION


Focusing ONLY on the HIGHLY contaminated land at 10,000 Bq/m2 or more, over 30,000 square kilometers in Japan exceeded this level. The radiation contaminated land totals around 8 percent of the total land mass of Japan. No wonder they are declaring these contaminated zones 'safe' and urging residents to move back in.

MEXT and the US DOE have done some very good work, they have used aircraft to survey the cesium levels on the ground near to the accident site. They have made a series of maps which can be seen at the following site.

The yellow on the Cs-137 map is for land which has at least 1 MBq of cesium-137 per square meter, this will work out as 1 TBq per square kilometer. If we now convert this into curies it will work out as 27 curies per square kilometer. This is a high level of cesium contamination.

Michio Kaku is telling the truth, so what does that make all of these apologists who are claiming falsely that Fukushima is only 1 to 10 percent of Chernobyl? 

TEPCO and the nuclear industry apologists have downplayed or denied the Fukushima nuclear mega disaster consistently, since the beginning to [resent day, as explained by Michio Kaku above.

At the very beginning, Michio Kaku called Fukushima a level 7 nuclear disaster and a ticking time bomb. He said all of this before anyone in TEPCO or Japan acknowledged three full meltdowns in three nuclear reactors, which they denied for three full months. The Japanese did nothing to stop the melt downs and melt outs, when compared to what Soviet Russia did after Chernobyl, when they threw 1 million men into the battle to prevent the corium from just one reactor from getting down to groundwater.

TEPCO is still claiming that the plant is in cold shutdown, despite it being totally out of control even today, due to multiple out of control corium 100 ton radioactive blobs burning underground. TEPCO said at the very beginning of the mega disaster that the plant was in 'stable' condition, and they claimed a much lower number on the nuclear disaster scale (4), despite KNOWING that MULTIPLE nuclear reactors were all in full melt down and totally out of control within several hours of the 3/11 earthquake.

They knew almost immediately after the 3/11 earthquake, that water was not covering the nuclear fuel in multiple reactors. Japan denied three nuclear reactors melted down FOR THREE MONTHS, and did nothing to protect or warn it's citizens or the citizens of planet Earth. 

Michio Kaku suggested removing TEPCO completely, and putting in an international team from many countries, consisting of top experts. This was never done because the coverup would not be possible. TEPCO is still in charge today. The coverup of the Fukushima mega nuclear disaster continues, and the deception continues. 99% of what happened there still has not been revealed via the mass media.

The New York Times reports that; "Chernobyl-induced radiation in the Black Sea peaked in 1986 at about 1,000 becquerels per cubic meter.. By contrast, the radiation level off the coast near the Fukushima Daiichi plant peaked at more than 100,000 becquerels per cubic meter in early April."

The New York Times reports that the contaminated zone around Chernobyl; "the contaminated area, designated by Ukraine’s Parliament as 15,000 square miles. 

According to Wiki; 1 square mile = 2.58998811 km

Factoring in the above square miles and adjusting for difference, the contaminated zone around Chernobyl would equal 38,000 square kilometers. The Fukushima crisis created massive amounts of radiation. An estimated 80% of that radiation went out mostly over the Pacific ocean and then over the USA, due to the prevailing winds and jet stream.

First Fukushima had a massive plume of radiation going into the air, most of which went over the Pacific and then contaminated the USA, as well as the rest of the world. 

From 3/11 to now, the worsening situation at Fukushima and an out of control 3 to 7 melted out coriums means that the Pacific is being hammered by water flowing by the constant, never ending radioactive lava blobs underground. The water flowing past those coriums is being contaminated with very high levels of radiation and it all ends up in the Pacific. TEPCO does not even know where those coriums are, much less have any interest in doing something to isolate them or stop them from doing what they are doing; poisoning the entire Pacific ocean, for the next billion years.

The ocean bound radiation from Fukushima went out over a wide area of the Pacific Ocean. 70-95% of the total radiation released by Fukushima went into the Pacific Ocean. The small 5-30% radioactive gas remainder is what went over Japan land masses and made 30,000 square kilometers uninhabitable.

Just by looking at the contaminated zone in the Pacific Ocean, and comparing it to the size of Japan above, we could assume that the total surface area was at least 3 to 5 times larger than the land area in Japan TOTAL, wouldn't you agree?

US Medical Doctors Find Elevated Levels Of Fukushima Radioactive Cesium 137 In Urine Of Multiple Patients

PACIFIC OCEAN AREA CONTAMINATED WITH FUKUSHIMA RADIATION TOTALS BETWEEN 1 TO 3.7 MILLION SQUARE KILOMETERS


This means the total amount of ocean that was contaminated with radiation from Fukushima water leaks is between 1,133,505 to 3,777,000 square kilometers, and growing, because the radioactive water 'leaks' coming from the out of control underground lava blob fires have not stopped, so the radiation contaminated amount of ocean is growing by the day and also getting worse, because the radiation delivered by air, is added to by the radiation now being delivered underground. The airborne radiation releases from Fukushima covered much more of the Pacific ocean than the water 'leaks' have so far, wouldn't you agree?

Remember, it was not just highly radioactive water leaking from all of the basements as well as as the many leaks from the Rube Goldberg plastic tubing keeping the reactors and spent fuel pools cool today that are still going into the ocean.

BUILDING NUMBER 3 AT FUKUSHIMA BLEW IT'S LOAD OF MOX FUEL INTO THE AIR, OCEAN AND THAT PLUTONIUM WENT ALL AROUND THE WORLD


Remember that when #3 had a massive series of explosions, it blew all of it's MOX plutonium fuel rods out for 2-3 miles around the plant, with many ending up in the ocean. Those highly radioactive fuel rod pieces contaminate any ocean water flowing by, and will continue to do so for millions of years. The above video shows ONLY one estimate of what happens to the radioactive water leaking into the ocean on a constant basis. Eventually, the whole Pacific Ocean will be contaminated with radiation, unless the SOURCES of radiation coming into are shut off or covered up. Currently, the Japanese are doing just about nothing about this.

In their view, nothing bad happened, so why should they do anything about it? In their eyes, the world has bought into the lie that nothing bad happened, and that the plant is in 'cold shutdown'. So if they start looking for the coriums, their lie will be exposed and they cannot do that. You cannot have out of control coriums and still have cold shutdown and 10% of Chernobyl. The whole fairy tale story will fall apart. But eventually, when things get bad enough, they will have to drop the lies and deal with the situation is the prediction of AGRP. 

Here is some more information about just the implications of radioactive water leaking into the Pacific ocean.

In addition to the radioactive water leaking into the ocean from Fukushima, airborne radiation coming out of Fukushima also ended up on Pacific Ocean, plus all other oceans. Because there is no cover or 'lid' on multiple reactors or spent fuel pools, the radioactive release into the air is also continuous from this same plant. 

In addition, melted coriums belch and burp radiation from deep underground, with no end in sight. These coriums plus the basement water in the reactor buildings also contaminate the underground water, which then moves into the ocean.

This may end up contaminating the whole Pacific Ocean, because the water leaks, underground leaks and air releases of radiation into the Pacific Ocean HAVE NOT STOPPED.

The ocean bound radiation from Fukushima went out over a wide area of the Pacific Ocean. 70-95% of the total radiation released by Fukushima went into the Pacific Ocean. The small 5-30% radioactive gas remainder is what went over Japan land masses and made 30,000 square kilometers uninhabitable.

AIRBORNE RADIATION PLUME FROM FUKUSHIMA WENT ALL AROUND THE WORLD, EVERYONE GOT DOUSED AND BREATHED IN RADIATION IN NORTHERN HEMISPHERE


The video below is an estimate of where the airborne radiation is going from Fukushima, but it DOES NOT show the radiation dropping into the ocean. Sadly, the Pacific ocean is where most of the radiation from Fukushima went, but this fact is being covered up, along with lots of other information about this disaster.

No one has ACCURATELY measured the total radiation that went into the ocean either through radioactive water leaks shown in the video model below, or the airborne radiation, shown in the video above. Computer estimates have been made, based on very faulty and minimized data, which downplays this mega disaster by many orders of magnitude.

Here is one attempt at putting together all of the radiation released from Fukushima, instead of splitting it up and only talking about a small piece of what was released, for a limited amount of time, as most mass media outlets end up reporting on.

SUMMARY


Bottom line, as 30,000 square kilometers of Japanese soil is radioactive fallout contaminated, then we can assume based on most of the radiation going out over the ocean, that at least 100,000 square miles of ocean were also contaminated to an equivalent degree, just from air releases, NOT counting radioactive water releases. Add the radioactive water releases, PLUS the airborne radiation going into the Pacific and it is easier to understand why some people are starting to call this a potential global life extinction event.

With multiple reactor melt downs, melt throughs, and multiple spent fuel pool melt downs, fires and possible explosions, Fukushima is without a doubt the largest, most disastrous mega nuclear catastrophe in history. The negative impacts will be experienced all around the world for 1 million years into the future because that is how long it takes for these invisible man made radioactive heavy metal poisons to decay into lead..

But wait, lead is a poison too, so it really NEVER disappears. Radioactive Heavy Metal Poison is poison, FOREVER and that is all that the nuclear industry creates; heavy metal poisons, that last FOREVER.
