This moment in Ukraine, is the US equivalent of the Cuban nuclear missile crisis, only in reverse. Ukraine wanted to join NATO. NATO would then install nuclear missiles on the border of Russia. Russia has declared that there is no way this will happen, and is now invading to stop this US led move to install nuclear missiles on it's border, while at the same time, the Minsk Agreement was being violated/ignored. 

How would the US feel if a Communist led equivalent of NATO would install nuclear weapons in Cuba, all pointed at the US? 

What if forces loyal to this Communist NATO were shelling US towns right on the border, as Ukranian forces are doing to Minsk Agreement territories inside of Ukraine? 

Why is there no Socialist or Communist equivalent of NATO with 1,000 military bases spread all around the world? 

Why does only the US have around 1,000 military bases spread all over the world, but Russia and China have ZERO military bases in foreign nations?

Western Media Fall in Lockstep for Neo-Nazi Publicity Stunt in Ukraine – FAIR

A third and crucial case of propaganda by omission relates to the integration of neo-Nazis into the Ukrainian armed forces (FAIR.org, 3/7/14, 1/28/22). If the corporate media reported more critically about Western support for the neo-Nazi-infested Ukrainian security services, and how these forces function as a front-line proxy of US foreign policy, public support for war might be reduced and military budgets called into greater question.

As recent coverage demonstrates, one way of resolving this issue is by not mentioning the inconvenient matter of Ukrainian neo-Nazis altogether.

In 2014, the Azov Battalion was incorporated into the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) to assist with fighting against pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

At the time, the militia’s association with neo-Nazism was well documented: The unit used the Nazi-inspired Wolfsangel symbol as its logo, while its soldiers sported Nazi insignia on their combat helmets. In 2010, the Azov Battalion’s founder declared that Ukraine should “lead the white races of the world in a final crusade…against Semite-led Untermenschen.”

How did the US fall so deeply into the darkness of supporting Nazis and fascism in Ukraine as well as in other countries that are equally corrupt and led by dictators?

MLK Jr said that the greatest evils are militarism, racism and predatory capitalism. The US is suffering from all 3 of these plus other evils just as bad if not worse. This invasion of Ukraine by Russia is a direct negative consequence of the US supporting the worst three evils in the world and then imposing them on other nations by force, threats, coups, overthrows, military invasions and financial arm twisting, all while calling these things 'exporting peace and freedom'. 

Because Ukraine has 15 nuclear power plants plus associated spent fuel pools that cannot survive without constant powered cooling, this war may rapidly escalate into a full blown global nuclear catastrophe, due to the melting down of multiple nuclear plants, where workers have abandoned them and left them due to the fog of war, along with the loss of electricity, which then causes nuclear plants to melt down, as we saw with Fukushima. 

If one nuclear reactor is filled with the toxic deadly radiation of 1,000 nuclear bombs, then a spent fuel pool sitting next to it, is equal to 20,000 or more nuclear bombs, which is enough to destroy all life on the planet if released by burning, explosion or melting down/out.

Ukraine has 200,000 ground troops. Russia 'invaded' Ukraine with only 100,000 troops at most. There are 40 million people living in Ukraine, who can put a determined fight even if they civilian.

What is Putin up to?  How can Putin 'win' against double the number of troops who are well armed and prepared, plus defending the homeland? Maybe he just wants to inflict enough pain so that everyone will come to the bargaining table and reach a deal that is better than the broken Minsk Agreement? 

Or maybe Putin is hoping to eliminate the leader of Ukraine via a surgical excision, which will allow Russia to install a puppet for Russia, instead of the US installed puppet?

During an interview with the Guardian, a member of Azov who identified himself as “Dimitry” described Russian President Vladimir Putin as “not even a Russian” but rather “a Jew”. This characterization is almost identical to Hitler’s description of Russia in his autobiography Mein Kampf where he states that “the international Jew” dominates Russia.

That Washington may be planning to use the neo-Nazis in Ukraine against a Russian “invasion” and “occupation” is further supported by the stances advocated by the ‘Atlantic Council’, a Washington think tank that has been at the forefront of the lobbying efforts to push the Biden administration into taking a more confrontational stance with Russia over the issue of Ukraine and specifically the Donbass and Crimea regions.

While supporting the neo-Nazis may seem like an attractive option in terms of getting Russia dragged into a quagmire similar to that which it faced in Afghanistan, this option also carries with it the danger of a severe blowback against the West. Nuclear reactors. The Chernobyl Zone. Ammonia tanks. Missiles. These are some of the toxic ingredients in the escalating conflict that Russia is bringing to Ukraine. Russia is not just playing with fire. Its military is now shooting ballistic and cruise missiles in a country with nuclear reactors, pipelines of ammonia, and swaths of radioactive land. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is likely the first war in history where the theater of war is interspersed with nuclear reactors.

Ukraine has fifteen active nuclear reactors, which provide over half of its electricity. As Russia invades more of Ukraine, fighting could take place near some of these reactors. This should concern all of Europe—there do not need to be nuclear weapons used for this war to go nuclear. An errant or intentional mortar hitting a nuclear reactor in an armed conflict in Ukraine is a possibility, and the fallout will not stop at any geopolitical border.

Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is the largest in Europe, and among the largest in the world. As defense analyst Craig Hooper wrote in Forbes, this nuclear power plant “is a particular risk… The site has little protection, and the six VVER-1000 pressurized water reactors could easily be embroiled in any Russian invasion.”

The Chernobyl radioactive site covers parts of northern Ukraine, southern Belarus and western Russia. The conflict that Russia began today is a terrible spectacle—vast swaths of uninhabited land, with three armies arrayed nearby, shooting mortars and missiles that explode in radioactive soil.

Ukraine’s nuclear power plants would pose a risk of radioactive pollution in Europe if caught in the crossfire of a Russian invasion, a Kyiv safety expert has told i.

“In case of the total destruction of the power plant, I think the consequences would be so much worse than at Fukushima and Chernobyl together,” Mr Gumenyuk said. “If speaking about consequences of this war situation, Europe will be totally contaminated.”

All it takes for all 15 nuclear power plants in Ukraine to melt down and out is for the workers to not show up and for the standard backup power supplied by regular fossil fuel powered plants to go out, both of which are highly likely in a war situation. Power lines can go down, or are cut on purpose. 

Having 15 nuclear reactors melt down and out, plus 15 or more spent fuel pools is worse than Fukushima, and Chernobyl, put together. It is the equivalent of 2,000 nuclear missiles per reactor and another 10,000 nuclear missiles for each spent fuel pool, all going off. Multiply 12,000 nuclear missiles times 15 and you get an idea of the Armadeggon facing humanity if they all melt down and out. This will be global, and it will contaminate the entire WORLD, not just the EU.

Chernobyl AES

The Chernobyl disaster was a nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. An explosion and fire released large quantities of radioactive contamination into the atmosphere, which spread over much of Western USSR and Europe. It is considered the worst nuclear power plant accident in history, and is one of only two classified as a level 7 event on the International Nuclear Event Scale (the other being the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster).[6] The battle to contain the contamination and avert a greater catastrophe ultimately involved over 500,000 workers and cost an estimated 18 billion rubles, crippling the Soviet economy.[7]

Ukraine used to receive its nuclear fuel exclusively from Russia by the Russian company TVEL. Since 2008 the country also gets nuclear fuel from Westinghouse.[8] Since 2014 Westinghouse's share of imports grew to more than 30% in 2016 due to strong social disapproval of any economic relations with Russia after Crimea annexation.[1] In 2018 Westinghouse's contract to supply VVER fuel was extended to 2025.[9] Oil and natural gas provide the remainder of the country's energy; these are also imported from the former Soviet Union.

In 2011 Energoatom began a project to bring safety into line with international standards at an estimated cost of $1.8 billion, with a target completion date of 2017. In 2015 the completion date was put back to 2020, due to financing delays.[10] In 2015 some government agencies made corruption allegations against Energoatom, with concerns raised by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.[11] In March 2016, Energoatom's assets and bank accounts were frozen by Ukrainian courts over allegedly unpaid debts; Energoatom appealed the decision, but the frozen finances led to contractual breaches.[12] In June 2016 its bank accounts were unfrozen.[13]

In February 2018 Ukraine secured $250 million of U.S. funding to build a spent nuclear fuel storage facility, which will avoid the need to ship spent nuclear fuel to Russia.[14]

In March 2018 Energoatom stated that electricity prices were too low to cover the cost of new nuclear fuel, and called for a price increase.[15]

In 2019 Energoatom and Turboatom signed a five year contract to modernise condensers and turbines at a number of Ukrainian nuclear power plants.[16]

On 4 December 2019, Ukraine's government appointed Pavlo Pavlyshyn as acting head of Energoatom. During January 2020 Energoatom discussed eight legislative bills with the chairman of the Ukrainian parliament subcommittee on nuclear energy and safety, aimed at meeting international obligations and standards, and the financial stabilisation of Energoatom.[17]

In August 2021 Energoatom and Westinghouse signed a contract for construction of Westinghouse AP1000 reactors to replace the unfinished blocks in Khmelnitskyi power plant.[18]

In Helsinki, DDT excoriated U.S. people and said Putin was more reliable than U.S. intelligence before he lifted Russian sanctions. Throughout his four years in office, DDT satisfied Putin’s needs while destroying relationships with all U.S. allies.

DDT used Russia and Putin to first get elected in 2016 and then run for re-election in 2020. The Republicans who support him want only to regain personal power at the loss of U.S. democracy and people’s rights. NEO NAZIS AND US OFFICIALS INJECTED INTO UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT BY US COUP, LED BY CIA

Recently, multiple US government officials and extreme right wing Neo Nazis have been 'installed' into the Ukranian government at high levels, as just another poke in the eye to the Russians, just to show them how powerful the US, and that it can do whatever it wants, right on the border of Russia. Neo Nazis are not what anyone would call a middle of the road, sane, reasonable or confidence inspiring group, given their extremist hate and fear mongering history.

Yatsenyuk, former finance minister in a previous criminal regime, and a suspected senior member of the US-intelligence-friendly “Church of Scientology,” has named three complete foreigners as cabinet ministers in key economic posts. The President of Ukraine, another Victoria Nuland favorite, the “Chocolate King” corrupt oligarch billionaire, Petro Poroshenko, made her a Ukrainian citizen in a bizarre ceremony the same day just hours before the parliament declared her Finance Minister.

The Ukranian Constitution forbids things like injecting foreigners into government like in the above example, but that did not stop it from happening, which shows just how corrupt and dark (more than likely CIA inspired) this whole takeover attempt is. 

The US poked the Russian bear in the eye, not just once, but multiple times.. One thing you don't want to do is poke a bear in the eye with a sharp stick, especially a bear that has thousands of nuclear missiles ready to fire at a moment's notice. The US seems to LIKE poking the bear and playing 'war games' with live nuclear missiles. Does this sound sane to you?

The U.S. Assistant Secretary of State who handpicked the new leaders, openly brought cookies to protesters. When those protesters violently overthrew the government in February 2014, the United States immediately declared the coup government legitimate. That new government banned major political parties, and attacked, tortured, and murdered their members. The new government included neo-Nazis and would soon include officials imported from the United States. The new government banned the Russian language — the first language of many Ukrainian citizens. Russian war memorials were destroyed. Russian-speaking populations were attacked and murdered."

WHAT IF RUSSIA CREATED A COUP IN ALASKA OR CANADA AND THEN TOOK IT OVER?

The equivalent of what happened in Ukraine on Russias borders would be that Russia came into Alaska and caused a coup of the Alaskan government via the KGB stirring up protests against the government for perceived made up reasons. By whatever means, Russia then takes over Alaska, via causing an election to be held after the overthrow of the government by the 'people'. 

Then electronic vote rigging, which is oh so easy to do these days, makes a whole slate of Russians the winners in an election. Voila! As a result, Russia now owns Alaska, and didn't have to pay a dime for it. Russia can now take over Alaska legally, just by signing a couple pieces of paper drawn up in a backroom. What effect would this have on the rest of the US? How would US citizens feel about Russia, if it did that?

What if the Russians assassinated elected US leaders in US states, and then installed Russian friendly dictators? Would that please US citizens?

IT'S OK FOR US CIA TO ASSASSINATE LEADERS, INITIATE COUPS AND INSTALL US FRIENDLY DICTATORS, BUT NO ONE ELSE CAN DO THIS!

It seems that is it ok for the US to assassinate leaders and take over their countries, and then install US friendly dictators, but it is not ok for the Russians to do it. 

In response to western powers taking over Ukraine in a coup, Putin responded by moving into the region known as Crimea, for the same reasons that the US toppled the government in Ukraine. Tit for tat is fair, in the global political chess game, don't you know? Russia held a vote and confirmed that this is what the 'people' wanted, just like the US did in the larger Ukraine. Why is one OK, but the other is 'evil'?

But the US did not like Russia taking back what was just taken, so it responded with sanctions, embargoes and seizing of bank accounts outside of Russia.

In response to NATO ramping up the pressure on Russia, by doing war games and installing nuclear missiles right on the border of Russia, Russia has responded by installing it's own nuclear missiles on the border of Europe. When will the game of nuclear chicken end? Will they have to launch everything to prove that they will not back down? When does this insanity end?

If a WWIII does break out, the very first thing that will happen is that Europe will get its oil and gas supplies cut off.

Russia is also responding to the sanctions, by imposing it's own sanctions and by taking all of the oil dollar trading out of the US dollar and putting it into BRIC currencies, which favors China, and it's other 'partners' who want Russian oil. This will eventually hurt the US and the US dollar, in many ways that will be invisible at first.

Maybe BRIC is why the US is responding in the way it is, trying to delay or stop this implementation that takes power away from the US and shift it overseas.

Shortly before the US entered World War II, America placed sanctions on Japan, and prohibited any oil from going to that nation. Japan predictably responded with force, by bombing Pearl Harbor, which then 'justified' the entrance of the US into WWII. 

Japan was aligned with Nazi Germany, in the same way that Russia is now aligned with Communist China. 

Russia gets 70% of it's total revenue from oil products.

Will Russia Become the King of Crude Oil?

Does the US really want to provoke a war with Russia by poking the bear and not allowing it to get food?

There are financial wars being fought behind the scenes, pitting one nation against another in the oil market as well as in the currency market. Currently, there are short sellers targeting the Russian Ruble, which has almost zero experience in the Forex market.

But Russia is a strong nation financially, and it has the capacity to fight back against nations that have HUGE debts and much greater weaknesses. Russia is being baptized in this market by a trial of fire, as short sellers target the Ruble. It makes almost zero sense to poke the Russian financial bear, when the nations doing the poking are in much worse financial shape than Russia is.

Poking Russia in this way, could very well cause a collapse in the currencies of the nations attempting to collapse the Russian Ruble.

Most people believe that Russia attacked Georgia for no reason at all in August of 2008, and thus the US must step in to defend these helpless little backwater countries around Russia, like Ukraine.

Contrary to most US mass media reports, the reality is that Georgia attacked it's neighbor which was allied with Russia FIRST, and then Russia defended 'itself' and it's allies, which is exactly what the US would have done in the same position. A true leader looks at what is good for 7 future generations of children without causing harm, rather than anything else.

Yes, the price of doing what is best for 7 future generations without causing harm may mean 'losing face' or looking like a coward in the short term, but to save humanity, sometimes a leader has to eat a little bit of crow and be the lowest of the low..

There are sacrifices to be made in the peaceful resolution of conflicts or disagreements, just like there are sacrifices in war. There are sacrifices to be made for children, especially for 7 future generations of them. Don't they deserve a world worth living in?
