Pretty much all of the billionaires of the world want nuclear power, because they are heavily invested in these stocks, and/or serve on boards of companies where they make huge PROFITS off of this 1 percent top down form of toxic energy. 



The US nuclear industry disaster insurance fund has about 12 Billion dollars in it. Beyond that, everyone is 'naked' and exposed, because NO insurance is available to cover the HUGE risk of radioactive heavy metal poisons. No insurance company will touch anything radioactive, for good reason. The insurance companies know huge risks when they see it, and they know that nuclear anything is so toxic, so dangerous and so risky, that they refuse to touch it at any price. Will humanity wake up and realize this same FACT and put this dangerous toy away in time, or will humanity suffer from extinction caused by the nuclear industry running amok? If the nuclear industry had to fund the total cost of a nuclear disaster it would have to total 1 to 10 TRILLION dollars, not just 12 Billion.

The ongoing cost of Chernobyl totals 235 BILLION so far, but these costs will continue to grow and add up, because they never stop. The radiation contaminated animals, plants, humans, soil and water continue to cause huge LOSSES financially, for thousands to hundreds of thousands of years. 

For example, just putting a cover over Chernobyl to 'protect' the disaster site will mean huge costs, as each cover wears out and needs to be replaced every 100 years.

Insurance Companies in the United States have begun notifying customers they will no longer have ANY coverage whatsoever for anything relating to nuclear energy claims. This begs the question: If the nuclear disaster at the Fukushima power plant in Japan is as harmless to Americans as the government and “scientists” are telling us, why are Insurance companies specifically EXCLUDING coverage for nuclear energy related claims? On a national level, insurance is almost non existent. The catastrophic risks and costs of a nuclear accident to the public are also under insured or not insured at all.

When it comes to the worst hazards of nuclear power -- America is going naked. Correspondent Miles Benson investigates why the US nuclear power industry is underinsured by hundreds of billions of dollars. He also speaks with Australian physician, author and nuclear industry critic Dr. Helen Caldicott on the health effects of nuclear radiation including cancers, fetal damage and genetic mutation. The video talks about damage and loss costs in the hundreds of billions, when the actual cost is in the Trillions.. Nations that have nuclear power plants are 'going naked' due to the potential catastrophic losses from even one nuclear power plant melting down and out, like Fukushima did, multiple times.

The nuclear and government 'experts' estimate for the costs of the Fukushima mega disaster have been steadily growing. As of April 2017, they figure that it will cost 70 TRILLION Yen. But in reality, they have no idea, because they don't even know how to 'clean up' multiple melted out cores, and there is no one that knows the true total cost of trying to do that, because no nation has ever tried to do that. Even Chernobyl costs are downplayed, because there is no clean up cost included, and no attempt to deal with the melted out core which is sitting in the basement underneath the reactor building.

A private think tank says the total cost of the Fukushima disaster could reach ¥70 trillion ($626 billion), or more than three times the government’s latest estimate.

AGR is also a think tank, but the estimate AGR puts on the Fukushima mega nuclear disaster is much higher still, and even this is going to be low, when Japan finally collapses financially.

We live 9 miles from a nuclear power plant, during one earthquake that cracked the building and broke fuel cells, the supposed protective med, PI, was NOT available because the health departments did not have it, and FEMA didn't either. 

Lucky for us, we did not have containment rupture–but it was close. And that was only a 5.0 EQ. Oh, and the broken fuel cells..we hear about that last month..years after the fact. Guess National Security would have been compromised if that fact was 'leaked' to the great dumb public (which is us..).

No private insurance for health or property for nuclear plant accidents (same for flood insurance)..YUP. The GOVERNMENT provides insurance, and helps just like they did for the GOM oil spill. You have to fight for the funds..and expect pennies on the dollar. 

The only insurance the nuclear companies have to carry is 300 million. After that, they are exempt. Our tax dollars, maybe, will help 'fix' it. As to the health of the victims, we have Obamacare to 'fix' it, if you can get healthy again. And only after some government contractor on a board says you can get treatment. If you have high levels of contamination, likely there will be death panels to say its not useful or cost effective to provide medical care."

A new plan was announced by TEPCO and the Japanese government that would terminate compensation payments to businesses impacted by the disaster. The plan includes giving businesses a lump sum payment to cover compensation through fiscal 2016. If a business still needs compensation after that date they will need to take up a new fight against TEPCO who said they would consider more payments on a case by case basis.

This cut off times with the government plan to reopen large sections of the evacuation zone even though radiation levels remain unsafe.

Every nuclear power plant is a nuclear bomb manufacturing plant, and it matters not what type of nuclear plant it is. As long as neutron radiation is produced, that nuclear facility is going to produce nuclear weapons fuel. Many people are pro nuclear plants, but anti nuclear weapons. 

Every nuclear plant is nothing more than a manufacturing facility for nuclear weapons. 


 Letting a nuclear plant explode or melt down is the equivalent of a nuclear war.

CAR COMPANIES ARE SUED IF THEY PRODUCE DEATH TRAP VEHICLES, BUT NUCLEAR COMPANIES SEEM TO BE IMMUNE TO THIS LEGALLY


Car companies are taken to court if their cars blow up and cause accidents that kill people. Ralph Nader went after a company that had built a really unsafe car that was blowing up in accidents and killing people inside the car. There is no such equivalent in the nuclear industry. And if a defect is found, the lessons learned are not applied because the nuclear industry applies pressure to legislators to keep those changes from happening.

When a nuclear power plant blows up, it is usually covered up, denied or ignored completely. If the public focuses on it, the negative effects are downplayed, so that the disaster sounds like a walk on the beach. Lawsuits are generally thrown out or tossed on technicalities, (but not always).

Oh.. TEPCO JUST reported profits 2nd year in a row, with profit from electricity sales breaking all time record at 6 trillion + yen

This article scratches the surface of some of the possible accounting fraud that might be allowing them to pocket the funding they receive for having FDNPP nationalized, the funded money gets reported as 'special profits'; also they report FDNPP as a loss at the same time ( to evade tax..?)"

NUCLEAR COMPANIES DEMAND THEIR CUSTOMERS PAY FOR THEIR RADIOACTIVE GARBAGE DISPOSAL TOO, UNLIMITED RISKS AND COSTS THAT GO ON FOR 1 MILLION YEARS

Car customers are not asked to pay for the disposal or storage of cars; despite all them containing toxic waste. Somehow, with nuclear waste, nuclear energy customers (taxpayers) are being forced to cover the cost of disposing of and storing radioactive garbage from a private, for profit industry. Since there is no solution for nuclear wastes, nuclear customers are also forced to deal with building waste facilities for the nuclear garbage generators. 

No Solutions For Nuclear Disasters Or Nuclear Waste

NUCLEAR UTILITIES ARE SUING TAXPAYERS AND WINNING DUE TO THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY HAVING NO SOLUTIONS FOR THEIR RADIOACTIVE GARBAGE, WHICH IS PILING UP ALL AROUND THE WORLD


Since there is no nuclear disposal site, nuclear utilities are suing the US government, which is we the taxpayers because the government has not provided the nuclear utilities with a place to put THEIR garbage yet. Yucca Mountain was shut down due to being proven unsafe for storing waste for 1 million years, and the WIPP storage facility is in the middle of trying to deal with a dirty bomb radiation release disaster.

SUMMARY


Why does the nuclear industry seem to play by different rules than the car industry, the airline industry or any other company that causes harm or deaths to the public? Why are they let off the hook for all of the diseases and deaths that they cause, knowingly, willingly, and on purpose?

Why are they allowed to keep on covering up the scope and scale of mega nuclear disasters, hiding some of them in open sight?
